For All Our Dads – A Father’s Day Tribute to Fathers and Father Figures

Both men and women seem to have an innate need for nurturance from males as well as females. If someone’s biological father is absent or unavailable, they will often seek out other men to fill the “Dad Gap.” These surrogate fathers can be as important to a person’s development as “real” fathers. We will celebrate both types of father figures, and also reflect on what can happen when a father is distant or emotionally unavailable.
