11:00 Service: "All UP UU Meeting at Van Riper State Park"

Service Leaders: Rev. Sydney Morris and Nancy Irish

Today, we hold Sunday service at Van Riper State Park, in a joint service with the Keewenaw and Escanaba UU Fellowships.  Van Riper State Park is about 30 miles west of Marquette, just off US 41.  We have the pavilion shelter (on the hill) reserved all day.  At 11 am there will be a (short) service led by UU minister Sydney Morris of the Keewenaw Fellowship and MUUC Celebrant Nancy Irish.  Following the service, it is picnic, fun, and swim! It is a potluck—bring a dish to pass.  If you want to BBQ something, you have to provide the meat (BBQing materials will be available).  (Note: there is a modest per-car fee to enter Van Riper.)
